The illustration: from music to graphic art
R. Kikuo Johnson, originally from the Hawaiian Islands, is one of the most respected comic artists and illustrators on the international scene. In addition to teaching at the Rhode Island School of Design, Kikuo regularly works for some of the most prestigious magazines, including The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Time, Wired, and Vanity Fair. He has published three critically acclaimed comic books, which have won several international awards.
